Christian Dream Interpretation:
Taking a Test!

Test taking / failing or passing test:

Passing a test in a dream can mean being spiritually promoted. This is good!

-If you fail the test.. you will more than likely have to take the life lesson AGAIN until you pass it. Make sense? (And yes, God does still test sometimes, the Bibles speaks of this from front to back. And many times He will also test the heart.)

Promotions can be financial promotions, spiritual promotions, ministry

promotions and so on.

Sometimes He will test us JUST for sake of testing.
To see which way our heart goes, or what we do.

Biblical proof for this dream meaning and such (for further learning):

Exodus, 20:20, 2 Corinthians 2:9,  Judges 2:22, Deuteronomy 8:16,  2 Corinthians 13:6

More on Testing...

So that the proof of your faith, (being more precious than gold which is perishable) even though TESTED by fire (or tried), may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 1 Peter 1:7

I lOVE this translation of 1 Peter 1:7 by the Good News Translation!

Side note: Normally I only give references from the KJV, or the NKJV (for certain reasons), but this translation is SPOT ON of what was trying to be said, and I really like it!   1 Peter 1:7

Here it is:

Their purpose (trials and tests) is to prove that your faith is genuine. Even gold, which can be destroyed, is TESTED by fire. And so your faith, which is much more precious than gold, must also be TESTED, so that it may endure. Then you will receive praise and glory and honor on the Day when Jesus Christ is revealed. 1 Peter 1:7 (GNT)

Some more scriptures on testing:

Job 7:17 (and the whole book of Job),

James 1:2-3, Deuteronomy 8:2, Proverbs 17:3

(There are MANY more scriptures on this, but there is a few for you (above). You can also find scriptures on this a lot in the New Testament; which also proves that yes, many times God does STILL test us like He always has throughout the Bible)

Here are some different types of examples of tests God will give many people.
(these are some good examples to learn from):

-The test of endurance.

-The test of being faithful (or staying faithful to God in the midst of trials or something hard)

-The test of staying in right standing with God. The test of "staying" in right standing with God, even when things sometimes get Hard! (Basically also staying faithful to God and really serving Him).

Some more tests (God has shown me that many of these are how He tests (many times! Okay!)

-The test of understanding or caring enough (to see if you EVEN care enough, or care enough at all (especially about God and such) Make sense?

-The test of understanding God and how He operates.

-The test of understanding God and what He is wanting to do and such.

-The test of understanding God and what He is good at. (Like will you trust Him, and stay faithful to TRUSTING Him. (Because He is GOOD at many things (and good at making things happen and such and coming through for you!)
-The test of: will you actually do something (like accomplish something, or do what He actually "asked" you to do, or accomplish.

-The test of “being okay” with NOT being a big name just yet (or being famous just yet). This test is to see if you will remain okay and humble with not being a BIG name (or BIG shot) just yet. Because if you can remain faithful and "humble", THEN you can be promoted to more significant things in life! (You can and will be promoted to the bigger things!) Make sense?

-The test of endurance to see sometimes how we will handle pressure, or how we do handle pressure. (make sense?) This is pretty self-explanatory, right?

-The test of being okay with life in general (like with boredom sometimes, or with the "waiting"). Will you be okay with the "waiting" and be okay in the midst of all it (without getting upset with God and REALLY mad and such). Wow! This one is crazy! But how true and real is THAT test! Wow! That is a real one no doubt! And how many times do we "wonder" sometimes if God is actually doing that!

Thanks for reading this and I hope it helped!  - Christie
